Pain
in your feet, ankles, knees, hips, back or neck can be
attributed to faulty foot mechanics. Orthotics or "orthesis" are
removable inserts that can be placed in most shoes to help
support alignment and improve the function of feet.
Our health care practitioners can prescribe orthotics for
patients suffering from pain, planter fascitis, flat feet, high
arches, Morton's Neuroma, corns, calluses, hammer toes, diabetes
and many other conditions. Many athletes can also benefit from
the support and alighted provided by orthotics.
With the development of new foot mapping technologies,
clinicians dealing with abnormal biomechanics welcome this shift
toward a more non-invasive treatment for foot, leg and lower
back pathologies. As orthotics treatment has become more common
it has been revealed that over 80% of foot, leg and low back
pain in the general population can be accounted for by a gait
abnormality. At Enhanced Health Center we aspire to provide our
patients with the opportunity to relieve lower extremity
discomfort by correcting the underlying cause. We have put
together a comprehensive program to totally support patient
needs.
Our clinicians provide complete assessments. Focusing on the
connection between poor biomechanics and common lower extremity
pathologies.
